What is your return policy?
Returns are only available for online orders only (not including purchases made through social media). For assistance regarding a purchase made through any of our social media platforms, please DM the account that you made your purchase through. All in-store purchases are final sale. For your convenience, we've provided two return options;
Return By Mail
Returns for online orders must be requested within 12 days of purchase date. All returns with a purchase date of 6/23/2020 or later must have original tags still attached. All items must be received by TCTC within 21 days of original shipment date. For online returns being mailed back, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your return request, shipping instructions and a shipping label to print and use for a non-refundable fee of $5.95. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the item has been received by TCTC. Please provide the original packing slip that you received with your order, or a physical print out of your order confirmation that was emailed to you.

Returns In-Store
Returns for online orders may also be accepted at any TCTC location within 12 days of the purchase date. All returns with a purchase date of 6/23/2020 or later must have original tags still attached. In order to return an item at one of our TCTC locations, you must provide the original packing slip that you received with your order. Upon receiving the item as well as the packing slip, we will provide a return receipt and your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 24-48 hours in which you will be notified via email.
What items are not eligible for return?
All items purchased in-store are not eligible for return. Items received after return period or with any damage or signs of use after purchase, are not eligible for return. The following items are not eligible for return; handbags, swimwear, sunglasses, luggage, beauty, sale items and all otherwise noted final sale items.
Can I re-consign items that cannot be returned?
All previously consigned items may be eligible for consignment again. However, due to changes in demand and seasonality, we cannot guarantee that an item purchased from us can be re-consigned at a later date. Learn more about consigning your items with TCTC.
The Closet Trading Co. has specialized in authenticating luxury apparel and accessories since 2003. With over thirty years of combined experience, our expert buyers inspect each luxury piece before it is accepted on consignment. Determining the authenticity of an item is a mix of art and science. Criteria such as stampings, symmetry, stitching, hardware markings, as well as overall workmanship and materials are inspected and determined to be consistent with the manufacturer's established standards of quality. If applicable, manufacturer date codes, serial numbers and additional documentation are verified for consistency. Lastly, the item is compared to on-hand authentic items for reference.
The Closet Trading Co acknowledges that it is illegal to buy or sell counterfeit goods and is dedicated to ensuring the authenticity of all items. The Closet Trading Co. will never knowingly sell counterfeit merchandise.
