DIY Distressed Band Tee

In today's video I’m taking you all on a rock n roll journey of how to bleach and distress your own band tees! I have always been a huge fan of distressed clothing. Whether its distressed jeans, distressed sweater, or my personal favorite, distressed band tees I feel like you can’t go wrong! It's such a fun way to transform everyday clothing into unique edgy pieces. 

The best thing about this DIY craft is that you truly can’t mess it up! I know we all get a little hesitant when crafts involve cutting our own clothes, but when it comes to this one the more crazy and raw the piece looks the better! I found at the end of crafting my Led Zeppelin tee that it was almost as therapeutic as painting or drawing would be. This craft allows you to express your creative side when choosing what parts to snip and bleach. I’ll even walk you through two main methods of cutting the fabric to ensure you get the most authentic distressed look. It was so fun to think of which spots I wanted to cut out and just how much. When it came time to bleach the shirt I even found a unique copper tone that I fell in love with, which really helped make this shirt even more custom to my personal style.
